When you are ready to build your dream home at Walnut Springs Mountain Reserve, you will find an ample number of highly skilled and experienced contractors in the area. You have the option to use the builder of choice, and our staff can make recommendations and suggestions based on our experience with local contractors. As an added benefit, you may take all the time you want to start building your home, but once you begin, you must complete construction within one year.
Walnut Springs has sensible and easy-to-follow restrictions and guidelines for building your home. These have been drafted in such a way that the beauty of the land and the secluded, mountain retreat character of the community are forever maintained and your property value is protected.
Generally, you are free to build what you like - based upon the size of your lot - from a cozy getaway cabin to a large timber frame estate home - as long as it is constructed of natural materials, is appropriately sized for the estate size and meets the architectural standards of the Design Review Board.
